What we’ve been through matters. When its impact is understood with care, healing is possible, and life can feel meaningful again. I offer a thoughtful, supportive space for this work, holding care for each person’s lived experience.

​Welcome, I’m Amanda. I believe healing and growth do not erase what we have been through; they help us to acknowledge the impact of our experiences whilst supporting us in finding life and meaning beyond pain.

 

Our past experiences shape us in ways we may not always notice. Sometimes, they show up in patterns like people-pleasing, struggling to set boundaries, or finding it hard to care for ourselves. These are not flaws; they are signals pointing to where healing and understanding can help.

I offer a safe, compassionate space to explore these patterns and the challenges you may be facing, including anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, trauma, and the lasting impact of abuse or difficult early experiences.

My background is in person-centered, psychodynamic, and attachment-based therapies, which means we explore your inner world, relationships, and past experiences, while staying grounded in what you need in the present. My approach is to meet you at your own pace, in a space that feels safe and manageable, so you can truly feel seen, heard, and understood.

I work in a culturally sensitive way and welcome people from all backgrounds, identities, and communities. Your experiences and values matter here, and my goal is to understand what they mean for you.

I offer support to individuals in South Birmingham, including Moseley and Kings Heath, as well as remotely across the UK. Appointments are available during the day and in the evenings, and I provide a free 15-minute consultation to explore what you’re looking for and whether working together feels right. During this consultation, I will explain the process and how confidentiality is maintained, so you can start feeling comfortable and informed before committing to sessions.
