Building trust is important, so here’s some information about my training, experience, and how we might work together
Initial Consultations
Once you get in touch, I will contact you to arrange a brief, free initial consultation over the phone, usually lasting around 15–20 minutes.
This is an opportunity for us to connect, explore how I might support you, and see whether working together feels like a good fit. You’re also very welcome to ask any questions about the process, so you can feel comfortable, informed, and confident before starting counselling sessions.
.
In Person Sessions
Sessions are £50 for 50 minutes, at a location and time that works best for you.
To help you feel supported and informed, I provide a simple professional agreement that explains things like confidentiality and cancellations. This ensures we both know what to expect, so you can focus on your journey in a safe and comfortable space.
Remote Sessions
Online sessions via Zoom are £50 for 50 minutes, scheduled at a time that suits you.
Just like with my in-person sessions, I provide a simple professional agreement covering things like confidentiality and cancellations. This way, you can focus on your session in a safe, comfortable space right from home.
I offer weekly or fortnightly counselling sessions, depending on what feels most supportive for you. We can talk together about the pace that suits your needs, circumstances, and capacity, and this can be reviewed as things develop.
I currently work in private practice and with reputable employee assistance programmes. Previously, I spent four years volunteering with a bereavement support charity, an experience that continues to inform my sensitivity to loss and change. I am a member of Rethink Mental Illness and support ongoing efforts to improve mental health policy and care in the UK.
I engage in regular clinical supervision and have attended my own personal therapy as part of my ongoing professional and personal development. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in HR and management roles, which gives me a grounded understanding of workplace dynamics and organisational pressures.
